This is my very preliminary standard hogaak list. I've produced a Troll by turn 4 in 67% of games. Only answers are Teferi, Oko and murderous rider. May not he the final list but I'm very convinced something based around this shell is the best deck. Feel free to dm questions pic.twitter.com/gXHp1Euqjz

Here's where I'm going to be starting for my initial standard testing for #SCGPHILLY

I think the black splash is very helpful at allowing you to catch up / transform into a more controlling deck postboard. Plan to test it a fair amount and then make a write up on the archetype. pic.twitter.com/Ne41RHRjFE
I don’t have 50 decks but you might appreciate the 3 that I have for the upcoming standard:

Spent pretty much all day working on Feasting Troll king decks and this is where we are currently. Was playing Karn in the fae spot for a while, but a 1/4 is just good in the format and the backdoor outlet to cheat Troll in came up. Oko is broko @ArenaDecklists pic.twitter.com/tAR5iY5MPE

Thanks again to Wizards for the VIP account, had a lot of fun trying out the new cards. Here is the #MTGEldraine deck I enjoyed the most today. Didnt get to play Knights or Red with Torban but the acrhetypes looked strong. Played a bit with Izzet Phoenix which seemed good as too pic.twitter.com/uLR2yNxd2b

Izzet Phoenix

With a better list I think this deck has legs. Irencrag Pyromancer wasn't even in this deck, but watching other people utilize it was enough to make me a believer. Don't leave home without it.
Royal Scions was kinda meh 4/ pic.twitter.com/19mcEzKvm7

Kicking things off with @BryanGo's 5-C Fires list, then UG Flash with Brazen Borrower, and then maybe a draft, who knows. Thanks again WotC for the fully stocked account!https://t.co/fu0yqMVSYw #ad pic.twitter.com/OAk9vvHmRT
Cards that have stood out: Fires of Invention, Great Henge, Bonecrusher Giant, Murderous Rider
— K/DA renji (@straydogrenji) September 24, 2019
Cards that I’m already bored of and produce dry games: Oko, Feasting Troll King
Special shout-out: Cuneo’s Doom Foretold/Dance of the Manse brew
Initial #MTGELD impressions:
— Dylan, The Hidden Hand (@IngrathisMTG) September 25, 2019
- Oko is as good as expected
- Food is not hard to come by (kind of expected this after everyone underestimated how abundant Energy was)
- The Great Henge is fucked up
- Garruk is better than expected
- Phoenix decks need work, current builds suck
Updated Esper Hero list. Still working on taking the "competitive Magic isn't a lot of innovation" advice to heart. Ended up on a mostly stock aggro-ish list with Murder Knight + Teferi, Hero + Rankle, and (I think) acceptable mana, feel pretty good about how it came together. pic.twitter.com/iRl3iAHiHq

More new #MTGELD decks thread! First is an Abzan Legend with the combo Tolsmir + Garruk, powered by Kethis ramping them all. @ArenaDecklists @MTGJank pic.twitter.com/gI2ZQzhCbV

Rotting Regisaur + The Great Henge is a great engine to be exploited! Let`s try with a deck like this first.
— Andrea Mengucci (@Mengu09) September 24, 2019
BG Midrange/Aggro. pic.twitter.com/wiUU3KVe7R
RB Midrange has been the best deck in Standard 2020. Bonecrusher Giant is a powerhouse and fits in this deck perfectly. Robber of the Rich and Stormfist Crusader also seem strong enough. Not sure if Murderous Rider is needed, probably not. pic.twitter.com/OsHFejqDIu
— Andrea Mengucci (@Mengu09) September 24, 2019
And finally a The Royal Scions deck! I started with Arclight Phoenix at first but then I replaced them with Irencrag Pyromancer. Fling is nice with Crackling Drake, but maybe too cute. pic.twitter.com/GUXLRB1nYJ
— Andrea Mengucci (@Mengu09) September 24, 2019
Thank you so much @wizards_magic for inviting me! The games were a blast. Here are a few lists from today. Brazen Borrow is amazing.

After a bunch of preseason testing, these are the two lists of mine I feel are strongest @ArenaDecklists. UW Control feels legit but I'm not sold on the closing speed as yet. Gu Henge is buttery pic.twitter.com/NAe7Pu5kYy

And finally, these tweeets aren't deck lists, but some thoughts about potential decks for Eldraine standard.
We might finally have a great shell for this in Monoblack. Reanimating Ayara alongside two other potatoes is no joke. pic.twitter.com/5xKNckaw9i

Will 100% go on the record right now as saying this is a mistake.
— Evan Erwin (@misterorange) September 24, 2019
It's the biggest mistake I've seen in a long time, too. WTF is up w this card. I know Reclaim is bad, but damn guys. https://t.co/bCH2UdkYwr
