Standard Array (15/14/13/12/10/8)
Pros: Has two odd attributes (favors races that have two odd number stat increases, like varient humans and half elves), multiclassing requires 13 in a stat and this can be a clever way to take advantage of that requirement
Rolls
We recently started using 4d6, reroll all 1's, then drop the lowest number. We do this 6x and then distribute the rolls to each ability score. The results have been pretty satisfying for all the players with a lowest possible roll of 6 and highest of 18. Final totals usually result in some slightly above average scores with a couple high and low ones.
